Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona is accepting applications for grants from non-profit organizations.
To be considered for a grant, organizations must clearly demonstrate how their needs directly relate to Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona's mission statement: The mission of Subway Kids & Sports is to provide sports equipment, uniforms, registration fees and access to major sporting events for kids who might not otherwise be able to participate. Subway supports kids in sports because it believes basic sports skills - teamwork, commitment and accountability - help kids throughout their lives. Subway Kids & Sports has reached more than 14,000 Arizona children since its inception in 1999.
Please complete an application and submit 10 copies along with any accompanying materials to Mark Roden at 3930 E. Ray Road, Ste. 260, Phoenix, AZ 85044. All entries must be delivered by October 31st, 2008 at 3 p.m.

A minimum of ten donations totaling $50,000 are anticipated. Each donation will be evaluated on its own merits, but rarely are grants in excess of $5,000 approved. Final decisions on grant recipients will be made and posted on the Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona Web site by December 23rd, 2008.
Keep the following in mind if applying for a grant from Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona:
- Must provide some sort of sports programming to children
- Money must go directly to sports program and not to general fund
- Must be registered as a 501c3
- Your request must meet the mission of Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona
