Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass

Whirlwind Golf Club is a truly unique southwest golf experience. The golf course, clubhouse and teaching center are sensitively designed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community. The Devil’s Claw course is a masterpiece developed by Gary Panks that will impress and challenge golfers of all skill levels. Devil’s Claw was created to reflect the land while the waters still flowed on the reservation by combining native grasses associated with the Gila River landscape including Cottonwood, Mesquite, Saguaro and Palo Verde. This challenging golf course features gradual elevation changes, great bunker designs with multi-tiered greens. Some of the world’s best golfers have tested their skills at Whirlwind during events for the PGA of America, the USGA, and the Nationwide Tour’s Gila River Golf Classic, broadcast on The Golf Channel.
